I just realized that all the skills and lessons I've learned in pickup somehow evolved into food blogging. Anyway check out my food blog if you haven't. I'm posting my favorite Banh Mi sandwich later tonight. http://mesohungry.mightysweet.com |

A friend from work says I remind her of John C. Reilly's character in Walk Hard. Another friend from work says she just noticed that I look like Will Ferrell, especially when I do my eye squint thing --which I happened to do when she came by to tell me. I'm not sure if I should be offended by all this. I told this to a girl I met last night and she says I remind her of Jude Law in Alfie. I've never seen Alfie, but now I think I'd rather be like Dewey Cox. |

People have been telling me that my shots are crooked. I thought they were crock, until I really looked at my photos 5 seconds ago. I don't know. It almost seems even. |

I've had a few little funny anecdotes I was planning on posting, but in the end I think it all comes down to a a U2 song. |

Been a while since I posted. I've been a social beast lately. Meeting a ton of new people (not meaning to brag, but probably met over 200 people in the past month). Jumping social circles. Been learning a lot interesting things through all this social dynamics.
Had a pork party Sunday night. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=19946&l=d3466&id=644309690
If anyone can watch Derron Brown's BBC show "Trick or Treat" Season 2, Episode 5 where they take a guy with no confidence and turn him around. It's amazing. I totally relate. People have been asking what's different about me lately. I say it's my stache, but they don't believe me.
My point is that don't believe anyone when they says a person can't change for the better. It's bullshit. I've heard it from many people. I guess it depends on how much that person wants to change. If the person is committed, they can do whatever they want.
I think everytime I go out now, I learn a little something. Whether it is a sticking point or beating that sticking point. Tonight I went to a dinner party of the upcoming MTV show's "How's Your News?" It's gonna be an awesome show. Anyway the thing I learned is lately when I'm pretty cool, confident and bantering with girls, it's easy weeding out shitty people. This past Saturday, I said something pretty funny to a girl when her friend was talking to my friend Anthony --"Hey. your friend is totally hitting on my friend and she isn't buying him a drink" And she freaked out and starting yelling at us. Hey I'm going on record to say that I was pretty funny and she was pretty psycho. Tonight I was talking to these girls and they said something pretty fucked up at the same time trying to qualify themselves. I'm not even going to repeat it. Shitty.
...anyway, I feel like everyone can use a little self improvement. We can always do a little better. And if you don't think so, why not? |

I thought of a good joke on the train yesterday. I saw a few people wearing sunglasses and thought it was pretty silly. Then I imagined asking the person next to me what they thought of people who wear sunglasses indoors. And I said in my head "Yeah, I think they're a little shady." I was very pleased with myself.
I've noticed recently that my social life has changed quite a bit from when I've learned pickup. I feel it and people tell me that there's something about me that's much more confident and happy ...and it's not my new stache. It's cool. I'm getting a lot more texts from new people that want to party and honestly I'm having trouble remembering all these new people. What's funny is that I've been preaching the pickup, because I'm not even sure how much it has to do with girls anymore but just becoming the most awesome person you can be. Pickup is the new Tony Robbins. Mochi is the new Baskin Robbins. |

So my first stache is now a week old. It was starting to look like the girl who takes male hormones in that band Le Tigre. Now it's coming in like Pirates of the Caribbean. All day today, I thought I was smelling ass everywhere. You know that smell in the boys lockeroom? Smells like a can of green peas. I wondered if it was my upper lip. |

Hey guys, new JOTU video for a song off "The Pill That Killed Hendrix"
Also this weekend Rusty and I got to be in a new Roots video directed by our good friend Rik Cordero --starring adult film star Sasha Grey. I was pretty star struck when I first recognized her at Rik’s mom’s house. I had no idea what the video was about. The song’s going to be a new International single, featuring the guy that wears the hat from Fall Out Boy.
Rusty and I play child predators. Stay tuned for this video soon --Three21media |
